AS Number Details
This will give your details about your Autonomous System Number
MCP Server
The AS Number lookup is also available as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. AI assistants and agents that speak MCP — such as Claude — can generate Mikrotik firewall address lists directly instead of using the web form.
Endpoint
The server is hosted on this site at the address below, using the streamable HTTP transport (stateless) and no authentication, just like the public API:
Tools
- analyze_as_number — generates Mikrotik firewall address-list add rules for all announced ip addresses of an Autonomous System Number (ASN), for Ipv4 or Ipv6, with optional per line comments and a custom address list name — the same computation as the analyze page.
The tool is read-only and idempotent.

"listName": "blocked_as"
}Example response:
#Mikrotik Firewall Address list generated by asnumbers.samayas.eu version 10.0.0
ip firewall address-list
add address=192.0.2.0/24 comment=https://www.robtex.com/as/AS15169 list=blocked_as

Add the server to any MCP client configuration:
{
"mcpServers": {
"as-number": {
"url": "https://asnumber.samayas.eu/mcp"
}
}
}Claude Code CLI
claude mcp add --transport http as-number https://asnumber.samayas.eu/mcpGitHub Copilot CLI
copilot mcp add --transport http as-number https://asnumber.samayas.eu/mcpCursor
Cursor has no documented CLI add command — save the configuration above as .cursor/mcp.json in the project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json globally.
The MCP endpoint is rate limited to 20 requests per minute per client. When the limit is exceeded, the endpoint responds with HTTP 429 Too Many Requests and a Retry-After header.
